Blogging changed my life.
Maybe that sounds dramatic but after having my first baby I found myself stuck in that mom rut and longing for something more. The hard part was I didn’t want to sacrifice being a stay at home mom but I wanted to progress in life and be successful in something other than just motherhood.
I had always had a very entrepreneurial spirit, selling lollipops on my street corner as a kid, and selling my handmade jewelry as a teen door to door. So after learning about blogging and the money to be made I was hooked.
I found a love for the business and marketing side of blogging and went from just a mom to a momtrepreneur raising my babies and making money from home!
You can read my latest income reports here! Or if you want to learn how to start your own profitable blog, you can get the free guide and checklist here !
But as much as I’d love to toot my own horn and say I learned how to make over $1000 from my blog all by myself, that just wouldn’t be true. Instead, I owe a lot of my blogging success to the blogging course Elite Blog Academy.
What is Elite Blog Academy?
EBA is exactly what it sounds like. It is a complete online course that teaches you the elite skills it takes to turn your blog into a successful money-making business. However, enrollment only opens ONCE A YEAR! So your best bet is to join the waitlist now if you want a chance to get in.
EBA was created by Ruth Soukup, millionaire blogger, and has been tested and proven to provide actual results.
I first heard about EBA at the same time I started my own blog. I had already missed the enrollment opening for the year (2016). Enrollment happened early Feb/March and I only just started my blog in September. ?
So I hopped on the waiting list and I am so glad I did because I got to prepurchase the course before they raised the prices for the actual open enrollment dates. So I highly suggest getting on the waitlist now to secure yourself any kind of deal.
My EBA experience:
I started my blog in September 2016 and got to purchase EBA in December that year. The course wasn’t available til March 2017 but I was able to secure early bird pricing by purchasing early. (Your best chance at securing a deal is to get on the waitlist now!)
Now, I want to be very honest here, EBA is an expensive course. I’m not talking $200 expensive I’m talking $1000 expensive. And justifying buying EBA when my blog was brand new making $0 was really just a huge leap of faith.
My husband was so incredibly supportive and after doing all the research I could and also knowing they have a 100% money back guarantee I decided to go for it.
I mean, it all kind of came down to the money back guarantee. It all just meant that this course was so confident that it could teach me how to turn my blog into a success that they were willing to give me all my money back if it didn’t.
I don’t know about you, but that sounded like a killer deal to me.
My blog before EBA:
When March finally came around I was so stoked to start the course. My blog at the time was generating just under 30K pageviews a month and $20-$50 a month in income.
All just from me figuring out blog strategies on my own plus being on the EBA waitlist they send you some helpful resources to get started before enrollment opens.
My Blog After EBA:
After starting EBA, I thought I’d plow through it. However, after getting halfway through, I decided to rebrand my blog to my current blog CassieScroggins.com and restarted EBA from the beginning.
So after restarting in summer 2018, I finally finished the course in December.
After finishing EBA my traffic is around 100k page views a month and I generate over $1000 each month from my blog!

EBA: The gift that doesn’t stop giving.
EBA for me was 100% worth the investment. As scary as it was to put out a large amount of money for a blog course, I was able to generate that money back through my blog in only a few months.
(I paid $500 back in 2016 for EBA as an early bird special but I have seen that EBA has raised its prices every year since then so if you’re interested in EBA it is best to get on the waitlist early and to buy ASAP!)
In each module of EBA, I learned how to refine my message, grow my platform, monetize, and build my business. It taught me how to think about my blog creatively and strategically so I can make money by serving my readers.
That is my favorite take away from EBA.
EBA doesn’t teach you a sleazy, get rich quick scheme to trick others to make you lots of money. It teaches you how you can generate an income through truly serving your tribe!
Now each month I make money by serving other moms just like me!
But the best part of EBA is that when you finish the course, that isn’t the end. It teaches you strategies to continually grow your blog. So this year, even though I already finished EBA, I have a plan in place to grow my blog to generate a full-time income!
It’s the gift that keeps on giving. EBA doesn’t just give you the fish, it shows you how to fish for yourself so you can continue to grow an be successful.
So is EBA right for you too?
Honestly, it depends.
Elite Blog Academy is for people who are committed to following the process and actually doing the work. As a member of EBA, I’ve noticed that the thing that the most successful graduates have in common is a willingness to put 100% of their effort into completing the assignments in order.
The program works if you do the work.
It’s also not for people who are going to insist that they’ve already heard this all before, or who are going to argue that a task seems too basic or complain that it’s too hard. It’s not for bloggers who just want to just “skip to the good stuff” picking and choosing the lessons they pay attention to, then write it off when they’re not getting results.
The EBA process is designed to create success, but it only works if you are willing to commit to actually doing the work.
What’s Included with EBA?
Elite Blog Academy gives you a proven framework for success that you won’t find anywhere else. The course includes everything you need to turn your blog into a successful, profitable business, from refining your message and growing your audience to monetizing your platform and building your business.
It is possible to create a successful business from a blog, and Elite Blog Academy shares exactly how it’s done, step-by-step.
Because EBA is designed to be self-paced, in order to do it right, you should give yourself plenty of time. Blogging is not for the faint of heart, and this course requires a willingness to buckle down and get to work. That said, for those who are willing to do the work, it also comes with a 100% money-back guarantee.
How Do I Get Started?
Enrollment for Elite Blog Academy only opens ONCE each year, and will only be open for five days! That means that if you are ready to finally take your blog to the next level, you should get on the waitlist ASAP!

Final thoughts: My best advice for new bloggers.
The best thing I ever did for my blog was investing in blog training. So even if you’ve been debating between buying EBA or not, I highly suggest investing in blog training.
EBA is my #1 suggestion for the best blog training out there but I also know that not everyone has $1000 so drop on a course right now. So do your research and find a blog training that fits your budget.
Blog training is the fastest way to see success blogging. Think of it like this, let’s say you have to put together a huge Ikea bunk bed. You have the option to try to put it together yourself, or you can talk to Jen. Jen is head assembler at Ikea and has put together numerous Ikea bunk beds and can show you the fastest most efficient way to build your bunk bed.
Sure you could probably figure out how to assemble your bunk bed all on your own. But with Jen, you can get your bunk bed set up as fast and efficiently as possible. Saving yourself hours of work, stress, and possible assembly then reassembly. So why not let Jen teach you how to assemble your bunk bed?
So even if you decide EBA isn’t right for you right now, I highly suggest investing in some sort of blog training!
For me, EBA was the secret to my success as a blogger and if you’re ready to get serious about blogging you can join the waitlist here!
