Faux Fishtail Ponytail Hair Tutorial

If you follow me on Instagram you know I’m really loving low ponytails and buns lately and this is one I wear frequently. This faux fishtail ponytail gives the look of a boho fishtail braid without any braiding! Yes, you heard that right. So if you consider yourself braid intolerant this hairstyle is perfect for you!
I love this look because:
- It requires no braiding.
- It’s super quick and easy.
- And it makes your hair look really long!
Because this look uses elastics and not actual braiding it shows the max length of your hair while appearing like it is pulled up higher on your head!

Here’s What You’ll Need:
- Small clear elastic bands
- Texture spray (optional)
- Hairspray (optional)
I use the texture spray and hairspray to add some extra volume to my ponytail and keep the elastics from slipping!
